24th International Meshing Roundtable

The International Meshing Roundtable steering committee is hosting a meshing contest. To enter, participants must generate a mesh for one of the two models chosen by the committee, which this year are a CAD model of electric guitar and 3D images of an abdominal atlas.

I've chosen to model the electric guitar and saved the STEP file provided; I will attempt to mesh this using several software, starting with ANSYS Meshing.

The requirements are quite flexible; we can discretize any part of the model or the surrounding volume; the mesh must not exceed 20 millions cells or 1 GB.
